Pre-requisite: Spanish 1AB or Spanish 1B
Course Description: This course follows the Spanish 1B/ 1AB course and enables students to continue to develop proficiency in the four basic skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing. In addition students increase their knowledge and understanding of Hispanic culture through readings, films and the Internet. The course requires a comprehensive exam at the end of each semester.
Course Contents:
Review and expand present tense: regular-irregular and stem-changing
Regular and irregular stem-changing verbs in preterite
Ser vs estar
Demonstrative adjectives and pronouns
Affirmative/negative
Preterite tense of regular and irregulars verbs

Course Assessment: Assessment is based on ongoing assesments. There is a summative assessment at the end of each semester.
